BEIJING, 18 February (BelTA) – Belarusian speed skater Ignat Golovatsiuk clocked 1:08.63 to place sixth in the Men's 1,000m at the 2022 Beijing Olympic Games, BelTA has learned.
Thomas Krol of the Netherlands led the way with a time of 1:07.92. Earlier, Thomas Krol won the Men's 1,500m silver.
Canada's Laurent Dubreil took silver, 0.40 seconds back, with Norway's Haavard Holmefjord Lorentzen winning bronze.
The mass start events are scheduled for 19 February.
