MINSK, 12 February (BelTA) – Belarusian athletes are taking part as neutrals in the 2024 European Wrestling Championships which have kicked off in Bucharest, Romania, BelTA has learned.
The event will feature over 500 athletes from 38 countries. Team Belarus comprises 28 wrestlers.
Monday program includes Greco-Roman preliminary bouts in five weight categories. Medal event will take place on 13-14 February. The women’s wrestling medal events will be held on 15-16 February. The freestyle medal events are scheduled for 17-18 February.
