MINSK, 24 February (BelTA) – The International Swimming Federation (FINA) has confirmed new dates for the 2021 FINA World Swimming Championships (25m), BelTA has learned.
“The three-day shift was made in order to fit nicely with the region's busy sport calendar at this time of year. FINA, the national and local authorities are fully committed to host the World Swimming Championships up to the highest standards and to provide a safe environment for the athletes, coaches and people involved in the organization of the event,” the federation informed on its website.
The competitions in Abu Dhabi, the UAE have been slightly moved to the following dates: 16-21 December 2021 (previously announced for 13-18 December).
