MINSK, 26 October (BelTA) – The issues of expanding scientific and education cooperation of Zhejiang Shuren University with Belarusian partners were discussed during the visit of Consul General of Belarus to Shanghai Andrei Andreyev to Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, BelTA learned from the Consulate General of Belarus to Shanghai.
“Zhejiang Shuren University has been cooperating with Belarus since 2013. Among its partners are the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the Belarusian State University, the Belarusian State Economic University, the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics,” the consulate said.
The consul general of Belarus held a number of meetings with Chinese officials to outline priority areas of joint research and education programs, consider practical steps in expanding the exchange of lecturers and the participation in joint scientific projects.
The focus was made on joint research in the implementation of high technologies in healthcare.
The consul general was shown a new campus of the university.
