MINSK, 25 January (BelTA) – During the final concert Time Chose Us that took place as part of the Marathon of Unity at the Minsk Arena on 24 January, the audience was captivated by the performance give by the 14-year-old participant of the You Are Super! project Ivan Maltsev, Nikolai Lukashenko, and winner of the Medal of Francysk Skaryna Piotr Yelfimov. Ivan Maltsev is a student of the Senno orphanage. Sharing his impressions of the concert, he said that working with such people was an unforgettable experience for him, BelTA has learned.
“It was a completely new and incredibly valuable experience for me. When I was told that I would be performing with Nikolai, I simply couldn't believe it at first. It was so unexpected, but at the same time incredibly inspiring! Of course, I was shocked, because Nikolai is a son of our president! His level of piano playing is simply stunning. Although I also play the piano, I am far from his level of mastery. He plays so professionally that, in my opinion, he could already give his own concerts,” Ivan noted.
Preparations for the performance went well, and Ivan felt confident. “We had rehearsals, everything was organized at the highest level. They explained to me how to make our performance better, and now I know for sure that it was spectacular and will be remembered by the audience. It was real teamwork,” he said.
Ivan admires Nikolai Lukashenko's musical talent, and appreciates the opportunity to perform on the same stage with him. “It's simply amazing to be able to perform together. The emotions are incredible,” he added with a smile.
The final concert Time Chose Us at the Minsk Arena became an unforgettable finale of the Marathon of Unity campaign.
