
MINSK, 13 July (BelTA) – In the latest episode of the project Vremya Pervogo on the Belarus 1 TV channel, Moldovan politician and ex-president Igor Dodon revealed why he visited Minsk this week, BelTA has learned.
Among the key goals of his trip to Belarus, Igor Dodon highlighted his meeting with President Aleksandr Lukashenko. “We’ve always had friendly relations. He loves the Moldovan people and has often visited us. So the main goal was to meet with Lukashenko. It is a great honor for us,” he said.
In addition, an agreement was signed between the Party of Socialists of the Republic of Moldova led by Igor Dodon and the Belarusian political party Belaya Rus.

The former president of Moldova received a gift from the Belarusian leader: the Nash President [Our President] book.

Aleksandr Lukashenko left an inscription in the book: “Dear Igor Nikolaevich [Dodon], I wish you happiness and success! Protect Moldova!”
