MINSK, 18 May (BelTA) – The gifts President of Russia Vladimir Putin has presented to Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Soviet nation’s Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 have been demonstrated on the air of the TV channel Belarus One, BelTA has learned.
A number of things were gifted by the Russian president to his Belarusian counterpart. Vladimir Putin sent a replica of the Victory Banner to Aleksandr Lukashenko as well as miniature replicas of the Motherland Calls monument and the Soviet War Memorial in Treptower Park, a PPSh submachine gun dummy, and a gift set of Russian movies timed to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory.
