MINSK, 8 September (BelTA) - Our Armed Forces have made a significant step forward, State Secretary of the Security Council of Belarus Aleksandr Volfovich said in an interview to ONT TV channel, speaking about the situation in Kursk Oblast, BelTA has learned.
“Over the last two years, our Armed Forces and not only them (this also applies to other troops and military formations - internal troops, border guards, special units) have made a significant step forward,” Aleksandr Volfovich said.
“We set tasks to the State Authority for Military Industry. War is underway and we see that the emphasis is made on unmanned aviation, means of electronic warfare, counter-battery warfare. Today, everything starts in the air, with means of reconnaissance, detection, destruction, and then goes down to the ground to the professional conduct of warfare on the ground,” the state secretary said.
