MINSK, 13 April (BelTA) - There is a lot of various photo and video equipment at the space station, Cosmonaut, Hero of Belarus Marina Vasilevskaya said on the air of the Belarus 1 TV channel on 12 April, BelTA has learned.

"A radiogram says which device I should use. There should be certain settings, we were trained into this," Marina Vasilevskaya said.

"We fly over, for example, the Republic of Belarus at a certain time. There are literally one or two minutes to take a photo or make a video of the earth's surface," the cosmonaut explained.

Marina Vasilevskaya added that at a time of the shooting, they were a lot of clouds. "But I did see and photographed Belovezhskaya Pushcha. I hope that pictures will come out good," she said.

When asked whether it was possible to take a phone with her, Marina Vasilevskaya said that it could not be done. More so, there was no need for a phone.

"You won't be able to use it up there in terms of the internet. Photos and videos can be taken with good and very high-quality equipment," the cosmonaut emphasized.
