Universities of Baranovichi, Nizhny Novgorod sign cooperation roadmap till 2025

BREST, 9 June (BelTA) - A delegation of Nizhny Novgorod State Engineering and Economics University (Knyagininsky University), headed by Rector Anatoly Shamin, paid a visit to Baranovichi State University, BelTA learned from the Belarusian university.

The Russian delegation got familiar with the educational and laboratory, sports, cultural and creative infrastructure of the university, and the university's achievements in research activities. The round table with the representatives of the dean's offices, heads of the departments, young scientists and the Institute for Professional Development and Retraining of Baranovichi State University focused on specific cooperation avenues.

Rector of the Belarusian university Aleksandr Unsovich presented to his Russian colleagues a set of university proposals on training programs in the network form, organization of guest lectures in priority thematic areas, potential joint projects. First Vice-Rector of Baranovichi State University Vladimir Klimuk outlined topics of promising joint research for participation in the Union State programs, organization of student contests of R&D and innovative projects of young scientists.

Proposals were also made to develop the Olympic movement in the partner universities, organize joint cultural and educational activities.

The parties signed a roadmap of international cooperation between Baranovichi State University and Knyagininsky University in education, science and culture through 2025.
