MINSK, 2 April (BelTA) – The meeting of the High-Level Group of the Council of Ministers of the Belarus-Russia Union State has been tentatively rescheduled for early April, Deputy State Secretary of the Belarus-Russia Union State Aleksei Kubrin said at a meeting held at the Palace of the Republic on 2 April to mark the Day of Unity of the Peoples of Belarus and Russia, BelTA has learned.
The meeting was initially due to take place in March. “The High-Level Group has been postponed to early April. We will see. We will probably be able to hold it in the first half of April. The agenda is already known. The range of issues is stable in general, and includes economic, social, and industry cooperation issues. We cannot forget about our migration area as well,” said Aleksei Kubrin.
He also emphasized the key points of cooperation between the two countries, the cooperation in terms of full restoration of communication between the two states. Russia and Belarus have also been working closely in the fight against COVID-19 and on the supply of vaccines and their production in Belarus.
“We are now preparing to finalize the issue related to the road maps. They are now being studied in detail. The documents will be analyzed and the decision will be taken on the possibility to sign everything as it was agreed. We will move in the planned direction,” Aleksei Kubrin said.
