MINSK, 6 July (BelTA) – The Belarusian Information Ministry struck two Ukrainian TV channels, namely UA and Kvartal TV, off the list of mass media outlets allowed to operate in Belarus on 5 July, BelTA learned from the Information Ministry.
“The decision was taken following the violation of the Belarusian legislation on specializations of foreign mass media. The Ukrainian TV channels aired advertisements that were not listed in the documents when they applied for the permit to broadcast in Belarus,” the ministry noted.
