“Turkey, Egypt, Ukraine, and Russia were the top travel destinations for Belarusians last year,” Vitaly Gritsevich said.
Chairman of the Board of the Republican Union of Tourism Industry Filipp Gulyi added that tourist flows from Belarus to Georgia and Albania have increased over the last two years. "The reasons are clear: prices and absence of visa requirements," he said.
As for inbound tourism, the Sport and Tourism Ministry mentioned the growing competition in the CIS market. However, Belarus still maintains its position. At the same time, the Sport and Tourism Ministry is actively working to attract more tourists from Europe and the United States.
