Truck queues at Belarus-EU border continues to grow

MINSK, 3 January (BelTA) - The number of trucks queuing to enter the European Union continues to grow, the State Border Committee of Belarus told BelTA.

The largest number of trucks, about 420 vehicles, are queuing on the Belarusian border to enter Lithuania.

More than 190 trucks are lining at the checkpoints on the Belaursian-Polish border. The Kuznica Bialostocka checkpoint remains closed. This continues to affect the other routes to the European Union.

There are no long queues on the border of Belarus with Latvia. As of 10.00, there were more than 40 vehicles at the Urbany checkpoint.

More than 130 trucks were waiting to cross the border with Lithuania at the Kamenny Log checkpoint, more than 150 at Benyakoni, over 140 at at Privalka.

Over 150 trucks were waiting to cross the Belarusian-Polish border at Berestovitsa and over 40 at Kozlovichi.
