MINSK, 1 November (BelTA) – In the last 24 hours personnel of the Polish border crossing Bobrowniki cleared only one semi-trailer truck on the way to the European Union per hour, the State Border Committee of Belarus told BelTA.
According to the source, in the last 24 hours the Polish border crossing Bobrowniki (Berestovitsa on the Belarusian side) cleared only 5% of the normal number of trucks or about one semi-truck per hour. The Belarusian border service added that truck jams were registered in front of all the adjacent border crossings of Lithuania and Latvia. Personnel of these border checkpoints did only 47% of the normal amount of work in the last 24 hours.
