MOSCOW, 19 February (BelTA) – The Belarusians evacuated from China and quarantined in Russia have tested negative for coronavirus and have been sent home, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Embassy in Russia.
“All Belarusian citizens who were in Russia's Tyumen in quarantine have been discharged and are heading home. Their tests were analyzed in two laboratories and showed no signs of the virus,” the embassy noted.
The Belarusian embassy thanked Russia for help.
On 5 February, Russian military aircraft transported more than 140 people, including ten Belarusians, from China's Wuhan to Tyumen. They spent two weeks in quarantine in a special health resort near the city.
