MINSK, 8 May (BelTA) – I have been accused of espionage in favor of Belarus and Russia, Polish judge Tomasz Szmydt said in an interview with the Solovyov Live project, BelTA has learned.
"I have been accused of espionage in favor of Belarus and Russia. What are these accusations based on?” the judge said. "I was doing my job. I didn't break any rules or laws."
"What actually happened? I just said that our Slavic peoples can live in harmony, and the entire mechanism of the special services was immediately activated," Tomasz Szmydt said. "I have my own political views, I am in favor of dialogue between Poland, Russia and Belarus, and for this I have been in trouble for four years."
