
MINSK, 21 May (BelTA) - About 60% of Polish voters believe that presidential candidates will not fulfill their campaign promises, according to a survey of the Pollster research center conducted for the Super Express newspaper, BelTA has learned.
According to the survey, some 59% of respondents believe that presidential candidates will not fulfill the promises made during the election campaign. Only 28% of the respondents said that they believe the candidates will keep their promises, while 13% said that they have no opinion on this matter.
The survey was conducted on 13-15 May among 1,697 Polish citizens aged 18 and older.
The first round of Poland’s presidential election took place on 18 May. The results determined that the second round, scheduled for 1 June, will be contested between Karol Nawrocki (29.54%), candidate from the Law and Justice party, and Rafał Trzaskowski (31.36%), Mayor of Warsaw, candidate from the ruling Civic Coalition party.
