MINSK, 27 August (BelTA) – State Secretary of the Security Council of Belarus Aleksandr Volfovich met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Belarus Xie Xiaoyong in Minsk, BelTA has learned.
During the meeting results of many years of interstate interaction in various spheres as well as results of bilateral cooperation in security matters were discussed. The parties assured each other that the contacts will further grow stronger and joint projects will continue in all interaction avenues.
Aleksandr Volfovich thanked Xie Xiaoyong for fruitful work and for a large personal contribution in the capacity of the head of China’s diplomatic mission to Belarus to the advancement of strategic partnership between the states, for active participation in promoting the mutually beneficial Belarusian-Chinese dialogue and wished him success in further endeavors.
Opinions about topical events concerning international and regional security were also exchanged during the meeting.
