MINSK, 24 February (BelTA) – The president is interested in the development of the manufacturing business like no one else in the country, First Deputy Prime Minister Nikolai Snopkov told the Belarus 1 TV channel commenting on the meeting with business owners that was held by the head of state last week, BelTA reports.
When asked what the business community expects from the government, Nikolai Snopkov said: “The things the president criticized the government for had to do with regulations. Streamlining, clear rules, a comfortable regulatory environment. We touched construction standards a little bit, they are in our focus today. But this is the tip of the iceberg. There is still a lot of work to do and this should be done in earnest, not formally. Administrative procedures should become simple, clear and digitalized.”
“The president is interested in the development of the manufacturing business like no one else in the country. And everything that is needed for this will be done,” the first deputy prime minister emphasized.
