MINSK, 6 December (BelTA) - Together Belarus and Russia are stronger and invincible, Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus Igor Sergeyenko told the media ahead of the session of the Supreme State Council of the Union State in Minsk on 6 December, BelTA has learned.
When asked on how relations between Belarus and Russia might have turned out if its leaders had not initiated the Union State in due time, Igor Sergeyenko noted that there is no subjunctive mood in history, so it is very difficult to predict something.
“In any case, when we are together, we are stronger, we are invincible. When apart and alone it is more difficult to live and survive in this world, and to withstand all the challenges and threats,” the MP emphasized.
