MINSK, 27 February (BelTA) - Head of the Belarus President Administration Igor Sergeyenko cast his ballot early at the constitutional referendum in Belarus on 26 February, BelTA has learned.
“I have a very busy work schedule today and tomorrow, so I decided to come to the polling station first thing in the morning. I always take part in election campaigns,” said Igor Sergeyenko.
The head of the Belarus President Administration added that the referendum is a historic event, because the Constitution is nationwide. “All our citizens had the opportunity to take part in discussions on constitutional amendments, send in proposals, work in commissions. I am satisfied with the work that has been done. It is nice to know that I was directly involved in this process,” he stressed.
“The voting process is active. According to the results of the previous days, an estimated 34.28% of eligible voters cast their ballots early. Everything is going well and in a constructive manner,” said Igor Sergeyenko.
