BREST, 12 May (BelTA) – State Secretary of the Security Council of Belarus Aleksandr Volfovich visited border guard stations of the Brest division of the border service on 12 May, BelTA has learned.
Aleksandr Volfovich was made familiar with the state of enforcement of border-crossing regulations, peculiarities of guarding river sections of the border, and results the units had achieved in the course of their work.
Close attention was paid to the engineering infrastructure of border sections, signal systems and alarms, and the utilization of cutting-edge hardware for detecting border trespassers.
Aleksandr Volfovich mentioned the high level of combat training of the border service personnel, their moral and psychological readiness to do their jobs in strenuous conditions. The effective organization of service operations by command bodies of the border service was praised.
