MINSK, 19 December (BelTA) – The second unit of the Belarusian nuclear power plant has been temporarily disconnected from the power grid after a sensor in a supporting system was triggered, the Energy Ministry told BelTA.
The decision to disconnect the second unit from the power grid was made in order to organize a routine diagnostic of the work of sensors of supporting systems. The relevant work is now in progress at the Belarusian nuclear power plant. It does not affect the safe operation of the power plant and its equipment.
