MINSK, 5 September (BelTA) — Representatives of Belarus' State Control Committee are taking part in a seminar of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) on conducting audit, BelTA learned from the State Control Committee.
The seminar is organized by the National Audit Office (NAO) of China and is held for employees of the supreme audit institutions of the SCO countries.
The participants of the seminar will get acquainted with the experience of China's NAO in conducting financial, big data, investment, environmental, computer and other audits. Moreover, representatives of every state-participant of the seminar will make reports on conducting state audits in their countries.
Representatives of Belarus' State Control Committee participate in the seminar at the invitation of Hou Kai, auditor general of the NAO. In 2023 the supreme audit institutions of the two countries concluded a memorandum on cooperation.
The Republic of Belarus has been a full-fledged member of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization since 2024.
