MOSCOW, 21 September (BelTA) – Next year, the Intervision Song Contest will take place in Saudi Arabia. The announcement was made during the contest in Moscow on 20 September, BelTA has learned.
“We are happy to announce that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has officially confirmed its readiness to host the international music contest Intervision in 2026,” the hosts said from the stage.
Saudi Arabia will take over the baton from Russia and become the venue for the next contest.
“We are delighted to pass the baton to our Saudi friends,” the hosts added.
As it was previously reported, the Intervision 2025 Song Contest took place at Live Arena in Moscow on 20 September. A total of 22 participants competed for victory. One contestant from the United States was unable to perform due to reasons beyond the control of the organizers and the U.S. delegation.
