MINSK, 24 February (BelTA) - Sverdlovsk Oblast is interested in Belarusian technologies in healthcare, Governor of Russia's Sverdlovsk Oblast Yevgeny Kuivashev said during a meeting of the Business Cooperation Council of Sverdlovsk Oblast and Belarus in Minsk on 24 February, BelTA learned.

“The last council meeting took place almost three years ago. But since then we have been working to strengthen bilateral relations within joint working groups. Our work has led to an increase in trade. The delegation of Sverdlovsk Oblast arrived in Belarus to outline its proposals, demonstrate the region's expertise in science and education and present Ural industrial products. Another important purpose of our visit is to study Belarusian technologies in healthcare,” Yevgeny Kuivashev said.
The governor emphasized that he is willing to promote cooperation projects in a wide range of areas.
“I would like to take this opportunity and invite the delegation of Belarus to Yekaterinburg to take part in the international industrial exhibition INNOPROM scheduled for 7-10 July. In turn, our large delegation will attend the INNOPROM exhibition in Minsk in September-October," Yevgeny Kuivashev stated.
He also stressed that common traditions, history, long-standing relations and extensive practical experience of bilateral cooperation provide a strong foundation for building harmony and effective interaction in all key areas.
