MINSK, 16 April (BelTA) – I am looking forward to gradual resumption of air service between Belarus and Russia, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said at the meeting with Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko, BelTA has learned.
“We are resuming air service as the epidemiological situation improves. For example, the high-speed train Lastochka will be deployed on the Moscow-Minsk route on 30 April. We also intend to resume railway service between Sochi and Minsk soon. I hope that we will also gradually bring air service back to the pre-pandemic levels of cargo and passenger transportation,” Mikhail Mishustin noted.
According to Mikhail Mishustin, there are plans to sign an agreement on airworthiness between aviation authorities of Belarus and Russia during his stay in Belarus.
