MINSK, 24 August (BelTA) – A Russian military delegation led by Deputy Defense Minister, Lieutenant-General Yunus-Bek Yevkurov was welcomed in Belarus on 24 August, representatives of the Belarusian Defense Ministry told BelTA.
While in Belarus the head of the Russian military delegation observed the International Army Games 2021 contests Sniper Frontier and Polar Star in the army exercise area Brestsky. He also met with top officials of the contests and members of the Russian team.
Apart from that, within the framework of the visit of the Russian deputy defense minister a concert by the Russian army drama theater was arranged for participants of the Belarusian-Russian strategic army exercise Zapad 2021 in the 230th combined arms exercise area.
