Roscosmos: Marina Vasilevskaya and Oleg Novitsky will fly to Moscow today

KOROLYOV, 6 April (BelTA) – Representatives of the Russian space agency Roscosmos have confirmed that the Belarusian cosmonaut Marina Vasilevskaya and the Roscosmos cosmonaut Oleg Novitsky, who have just returned from orbit, will fly to Moscow today, a BelTA journalist reports from Roscosmos’ mission control center.

“The reentry module of the crew transfer vehicle Soyuz MS-24 made a routine landing in the designated area of Kazakhstan. The crew feels well and will arrive at the Chkalovsky airfield this evening for consequent post-flight rehabilitation,” said Ivan Shchurov, a spokesman of the Rocket and Space Corporation Energia of the Russian state corporation Roscosmos.

The space crew including the first cosmonaut of sovereign Belarus Marina Vasilevskaya, the Roscosmos cosmonaut Oleg Novitsky, and the NASA astronaut Loral O'Hara landed about 150km to the southeast of the city of Zhezkazgan, Kazakhstan at 10:17 Minsk time on 6 April.
