MINSK, 22 September (BelTA) - Representatives of the Vietnam Women's Union headed by Chairwoman Ha Thi Nga are in Minsk on a working visit ton 21-25 September. On 22 September the delegation laid flowers at the Minsk Hero City monument and visited the Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War.
Within the framework of the visit the delegation is set to meet with members of the Board of the Belarusian Women’s union, representatives of public authorities of the Republic of Belarus and to visit Belarusian enterprises in the city of Nesvizh.
The Vietnam Women's Union (VWU) is a reputable social and political organization established by the Communist Party of Vietnam in 1930. The VWU’s rights and responsibilities are regulated by the Constitution and laws of Vietnam. The mission is to unite and gather the Vietnamese women of all strata for women's happiness and country's prosperity.
