MINSK, 2 December (BelTA) - The Information Ministry of Belarus has dismissed the information about Belarus' withdrawal from the CIS Council for Humanitarian Cooperation as fake, BelTA has learned.
“In connection with the spread of fake news on behalf of the Information Ministry about the alleged withdrawal of Belarus from the CIS Council for Humanitarian Cooperation, the Information Ministry officially declares that no such reports have been received from the agency. According to spokesperson of the CIS Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation Nelly Petkova, this fake news appeared on their website because the website had been hacked.
Humanitarian partnership is an essential element of cooperation in international and interstate relations, the ministry added. “The Information Ministry appreciates Belarus' membership in the foundation and cherishes the cooperation in various social and cultural sectors of the CIS countries,” the Information Ministry said.
