GRODNO, 1 December (BelTA) - We do not understand why Poland is not letting them cross the border, a refugee from Iraq living in the temporary accommodation facility in the transport and logistics center on the border told BelTA.
"It's very good that we were relocated to this warm facility. It would be really hard in the cold in the forest...,” the man said. “Why did I leave Iraq? Germany welcomed us and promised us a good life. But now we are not allowed into Poland. We are waiting for a humanitarian corridor. I would like to say a big thank you to the Belarusians for sheltering us."
