GRODNO, 6 December (BelTA) – Thanks to the Belarusians, nothing threatens our lives now, a refugee from the temporary accommodation facility on the Belarus-Poland border told a BelTA journalist.
“We are provided with accommodation, food and clothing. However, despite all the help from Belarus, I still want to go to Germany. My relatives already live there. They promised me to help solve my hearing problems: I can't hear in one ear,” she said.
The life in the logistics center that was turned into the temporary accommodation facility goes on as usual: people deal with everyday issues, put things in order, read news waiting for a solution of their issue, keep in touch with loved ones by phone.
The Emergencies Ministry fire safety brigades are deployed on the ground. It is strictly forbidden to smoke inside, use camping stoves, and clutter the aisles. The Emergencies Ministry employees strictly monitor compliance with all fire-prevention measures.
