GRODNO, 30 November (BelTA) - We do not understand why Poland does not let us through the border, one of the refugees staying at a temporary accommodation facility in the transport and logistics center near the Belarus-Poland border told BelTA.
“We are grateful to Belarus for helping us. We are surprised by Belarusian hospitality. My friends and I are satisfied with our stay in the camp. It was great to see that our problems are taken into account at the highest level. I also liked the speech of your president,” he said.
According to the refugee, people left Iraq for different reasons. “We have the same goal, however. We want to get to Germany where we can be granted asylum. We do not understand why the Poles do not let us through the border,” said the refugee from Iraqi Kurdistan.
