AMUR OBLAST, 12 April (BelTA) – Russia and Belarus make the most of their potential to support each other amidst the sanctions, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at the talks with Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko at the Vostochny Cosmodrome in Amur Oblast on 12 April, BelTA has learned.
“Belarus is one of the leading countries in terms of trade with Russia. More than that: the external pressure prompts us to use our potential to the full to support each other, unconditionally ensure our development, including in such high-tech industries as space,” Vladimir Putin said.
According to him, in recent years Belarus and Russia have made significant progress in expanding cooperation in agriculture and manufacturing. Cooperation in the energy sector is also vibrant. “There is something to think about, something to talk about,” he added.
