MINSK, 30 January (BelTA) – Public trust in official statistics in Belarus is at 80.6%, the Belarusian Statistical Committee told BelTA commenting on the results of the study to explore the use of statistical information in 2024.
80.5% of those surveyed said they were satisfied with official statistics, while 80.6% trusted it. 22.9% of those using official statistics last year were university and school students. Among the users of official statistical information were also public administration and state organizations (22.7%) and business (22%).
Most users (32.9%) needed statistics once a year or less often. Only 6.9% used the data of the Belarusian Statistical Committee on a daily basis.
Labor statistics drew the greatest interest last year.
