MINSK, 25 February (BelTA) – The Belarusian border checkpoints Novaya Rudnya and Novaya Guta keep working although it is difficult to approach them from Ukraine's territory due to destroyed roads and the lack of security at times, the State Border Committee of Belarus told BelTA.
According to the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, hundreds of people crossed the Belarusian-Ukrainian border via these checkpoints in the last 24 hours.
The State Border Committee reminded that the Belarusian embassy and the Central Consular Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs now work 24/7 to provide assistance with evacuation and provide other kinds of aid if necessary.
