
MINSK, 26 January (BelTA) – Polling stations in Belarus have closed, the election commissions have started counting the votes, BelTA has learned.
As many as 5,325 polling stations were set up all over the country during the presidential election on 26 January. Citizens, who came to Belarus from abroad, could realize their constitutional right by going to polling stations in Brest, Vitebsk, Gomel, Grodno, Minsk, and Mogilev. The polling stations started working at 8:00 and stopped working at 20:00.
