MINSK, 11 November (BelTA) – The absolute majority of Belarusians trust the president of the Republic of Belarus, Director of the EcooM think tank Sergei Musiyenko told BelTA.
The sociological survey “Factors of sustainable development” was conducted by EcooM from 1 to 21 October 2024. The survey polled 1,580 people of different gender, age, educational attainments, place of residence and region. The error of the poll is below 2.5%.
The respondents were asked “How much do you trust the president of the Republic of Belarus?” The breakdown was the following: 80.4% of the respondents answered “I trust”, 13.6% said “I rather do not trust / do not trust” and 6% found it difficult to answer or provided no answer.
“This is a very high level of trust. It is due to certain actions and events that are unfolding inside the country, the response to external challenges and threats. In general, both in politics and everyday life, trust is a very delicate matter. But Aleksandr Grigorievich has earned this trust with his work over 30 years as president.”
