MINSK, 26 November (BelTA) – BRICS is one of the geopolitical centers of gravity, Polish political scientist and publicist Tomasz Gryguć said in a new episode of the V Teme [On Point] project on BelTA’s YouTube channel.
"Polish media and so-called Polish politicians either downplay the significance of BRICS or keep silent about this organization. But BRICS is one of the geopolitical centers of gravity. That is where we should be. Our place is not in the European Union or NATO. It is not a question of pursuing a policy ‘a little here and a little there’. The reason for existence and national interest of Poland is to associate itself with the global majority on a subjective basis. That is, with BRICS, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. Poland should join the process of creating a large Eurasian space, like Belarus is doing under the leadership of President Lukashenko," Tomasz Gryguć stated.
In support of his words that BRICS is one of the geopolitical centers of gravity, he cited the BRICS summit in Kazan as an example. "First of all, the summit in Kazan was a great political success of Russia. During the event, the city hosted half of the world," the political scientist emphasized.
