MINSK, 1 December (BelTA) - Belarusian Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin chaired a meeting of the organizing committee for the seventh Belarusian People's Congress, BelTA has learned.
“There is not much time left until the second session of the 7th Belarusian People's Congress. So today we need to compare our notes on all previously planned activities included in the preparation schedule. The Presidium of the Belarusian People's Congress convened for a meeting on 25 November 2025. Following the meeting, it was primarily decided to submit the draft agenda for consideration at the second session of the 7th Belarusian People's Congress. The key milestones of this event include the address by the head of state, the approval of the social and economic development program for the upcoming five-year period, and several other matters. Today, we will discuss the progress in the preparations for this important event,” Aleksandr Turchin said.
The second session of the 7th Belarusian People's Congress will be held in Minsk on 18-19 December.

Furthermore, the My Belarus achievements exhibition will open at the Minsk International Exhibition Center BELEXPO ahead of the Belarusian People's Congress session. "We must also hear today about the progress of preparations for this event too,” the prime minister noted.
The second session of the 7th Belarusian People's Congress will be held in Minsk on 18-19 December.
