MINSK, 11 March (BelTA) – There are plans to build an infectious diseases hospital in Minsk in the next five years, Minsk Mayor Vladimir Kukharev said as he met with the Minsk Arena labor collective on 11 March, BelTA informs.
“The pandemic has shown that we need infectious diseases hospitals, therefore we plan to build a hospital for 500 beds in the next five years. It will be fitted with modern equipment and will be able to provide quick and high-quality diagnostics and treatment,” Vladimir Kukharev said.
The mayor noted that Minsk will stay focused on improving healthcare infrastructure: old hospitals will be renovated and new ones will be built and fitted with modern equipment.
