Pantus: Belarus, Russia are working on program of military-technical cooperation until 2030 

MINSK, 7 February (BelTA) – Work is underway on the program of military-technical cooperation between Russia and Belarus until 2030, Chairman of the Belarusian State Authority for Military Industry Dmitry Pantus told the media before a board meeting of the agency in Minsk, BelTA learned.

"Belarus-Russia cooperation in military and technology matters is at its maximum. We are engaged in the joint R&D. This cooperation gains momentum every year. We are already working on a program of military-technical cooperation between our countries until 2030. In the very near future, a program of technological cooperation will be signed with the Russian Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation," Dmitry Pantus said. 

He pointed out that work is underway with Russian colleagues to develop the Osvei aircraft. "In recent years, we have made a big step in aircraft construction. We produce quite a wide range of parts and assemblies for various Russian aircraft. This work will be continued. We are building additional capacities and doing a lot to expand this nomenclature," he informed. 

At the board meeting the State Authority for Military Industry is set to take stock of the results of the agency and organizations within its system in 2024 and outline the tasks for 2025.
