MINSK, 20 February (BelTA) – Over 80,000 tourists visited BelAZ last year, the company told BelTA.
2025 was the most successful year in the ten-year history of industrial tourism at BelAZ: the company welcomed 81,332 tourists, making it the undisputed leader among Belarusian industry giants. For context, visitor numbers stood at 57,872 the year before, and the cumulative total since the program’s launch has now exceeded 380,000.
Interest in Belarusian mining equipment spans the globe: in 2025, the company welcomed visitors from Russia, Lithuania, Germany, India, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Iran, Türkiye, China, and African countries. A total of 2,713 excursions were conducted, 400 more than in 2024. It is worth noting that more than 8,900 people realized their dream of riding in a dump truck cab.
Building on this experience, BelAZ is constantly pushing the boundaries of what is possible. The opening of an 8,000-square-meter exhibition space was an important step towards creating a fully-fledged exhibition ecosystem. An even more ambitious project lies ahead: the opening of an interactive viewing area at the super-heavy equipment production facility, which will allow visitors to witness firsthand the creation of these legendary dump trucks. This location will be of particular interest to young tourists, who will be able to participate in engaging quizzes and hold real BelAZ components and working tools. The BelAZ press service noted that of the 81,000 visitors to the plant last year, more than 30,000 were children and the youth.
