MINSK, 5 May (BelTA) – Over 5.9 million Belarusians have completed the vaccination process against COVID-19, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Healthcare Ministry.
“As of 4 May 2022, over 6.285 million people in Belarus have got the first shot of a COVID-19 vaccine, of them over 5.906 million have completed the vaccination process. Over 120,200 teenagers aged 12-17 have received one shot of the vaccine, of them more than 91,600 children have been fully vaccinated,” the Healthcare Ministry said.
Thus, 67.2% of the country's population have received one dose of the vaccine, 63.2% have been fully vaccinated.
Belarusians are also getting booster shots of the vaccine, with 7.44% of the population having completed it so far.
