Over 5.85m Belarusians now fully vaccinated against COVID-19

MINSK, 29 April (BelTA) – Over 6.24 million people in Belarus have got the first shot of a COVID-19 vaccine, of them over 5.85 million have completed the vaccination process, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Healthcare Ministry.

Over 115,600 teenagers aged 12-17 have received one shot of the vaccine, of them more than 87,900 children have been fully vaccinated.

Thus, 66.8% of the country's population have received one dose of the vaccine, 62.6% have been fully vaccinated.

Belarusians are also getting booster shots of the vaccine, with 7.35% of the population having completed it so far.
