
MINSK, 3 January (BelTA) – Since 29 December 2023, more than 3,000 residents of the EU countries neighbouring Belarus have taken advantage of the visa-waiver to visit Belarus, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee.
Since 29 December, 3,017 residents of the European Union have visited Belarus visa-free, including 1,920 citizens of Lithuania, 531 citizens and 126 non-citizens of Latvia, as well as 440 citizens of Poland.
Since the start of the visa-waiver initiative, 803,623 foreigners have visited Belarus visa-free, including 497,131 citizens of Lithuania, 185,332 citizens and 56,241 non-citizens of Latvia, and 64,919 citizens of Poland.
The State Border Committee reminds that Belarus extended the visa waiver until 31 December 2024.
