Over 25,000 Ukrainians enter Belarus since 24 February

MINSK, 6 May (BelTA) – More than 25,000 Ukrainian nationals have arrived in Belarus since 24 February, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee.

"From 6.00 on 24 February to 6.00 on 6 May, 25,630 citizens of Ukraine came to Belarus: 15,781 arrived in Belarus from Ukraine, 8,758 from Poland, 947 - from Lithuania, 144 – from Latvia,” the State Border Committee said.

“From 6.00 on 5 May to 6.00 on 6 May 138 Ukrainian nationals entered Belarus from Ukraine: of them 118 from Poland, 14 from Lithuania and six from Latvia. Foreigners who arrive in the Republic of Belarus in the wake of the social and political situation in Ukraine, including from the territory of other countries, do not need a PCR test (certificate) to enter the country,” the State Border Committee said.

Belarusian checkpoints are operating in a routine mode.
