Over 1.7m Belarusians fully vaccinated against COVID-19

MINSK, 8 October (BelTA) – More than 1.7 million Belarusians have received the second dose of the coronavirus vaccine, BelTA learned from the press service of the Healthcare Ministry.

“More than 2,378,000 people in Belarus have got a COVID-19 vaccine, of them over 1,726,000 got their second jab,” the press service informed.

The regional breakdown of people who got the second shot is as follows: Brest Oblast (over 210,700), Vitebsk Oblast (over 180,700), Gomel Oblast (over 311,600), Grodno Oblast (over 198,600), Minsk (over 381,400), Minsk Oblast (over 196,500), Mogilev Oblast (over 195,800).

More than 50,500 employees of various organizations and departments have been fully vaccinated so far.
